  • Replacement tree planting

    Policy

    Following the felling of the Robinia tree authorised by this consent, a replacement tree shall be planted on the site. The replacement tree shall be a container grown or root balled Quercus palustris 'Green Pillar' or Quercus palustris, and of minimum heavy standard (12-14cm) size in accordance with British Standard 3936: 1992 Nursery Stock Part One. The replacement tree shall be planted within 3m of the location of the felled Robinia during the first planting season following the felling. The Local Planning Authority shall be notified in writing within 7 days of the planting of the tree.

    Should the replacement tree planted in compliance with condition 01 die or become damaged, diseased or be removed within five years of planting, it shall be replaced with another tree as previously specified in condition 01, unless the local planning authority gives its written approval to any variation.
